In 2000, again with the lyrics written by Federico Padovano, Morris writes the song “Il Gol Di Zé (È Gol Do Zè)”, representing Brazil in the 43rd Zecchino D’oro, which wins the Zecchino d’Argento, first prize for the foreign songs festival.
Also writes the song “Il Nuovo Cammino” with Padovano for the Millennium CD of the Antoniano Choir, celebrating the 2000 Jubilee.
In 2001, in the animated movie “Shrek”, a special character sings “Feelings” during a scene.
During 2001 and 2002, Morris gets back into the scenes with new gigs and shows in various places, including the Smeraldo Theater in Milano, Italy
He dedicates himself to writing and arranging new original songs that in 2003 become part of his ninth album, “Moods”, which he releases through his own independent label Moodiness, promoting his new work in Europe and South America
In 2004, Morris Albert guests in the Sanremo Festival, Italy, a duet with the Italian singer Mietta, with the song “Cuore”.
The song is part of the tenth album of his career, “Cuore”, released by Universal.
In July of the same year, Morris tours different capitals in Brazil: “Rio de Janeiro”, “Vitoria”, “Porto Alegre”, “São Paulo”, and “Curitiba”.
In 2006, he goes to Los Angeles and performs at the Colony Theater, with his show “Unplugged and Personal”, guesting at some tv shows.
